Monique Honaman - the High Road Has Less Traffic

What happens when your struggles and heartache become a platform for others who travel your same path? You write a book about it and become an unlikely hero and advocate for those needing support during dark times.

Monique Honaman is just a regular person who happened to get a divorce.

Divorce. Infidelity. Broken trust. Starting over. Legal battles. Custody. Most people don’t say I Do at the altar ever thinking they’ll have to navigate any of that in their lifetimes. But as we’re well aware, divorce happens, it happens often, yet there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Monique became that beacon of light and fountain of resource while navigating her own divorce journey which was therapeutic and a bit surreal. Sometimes topics that are considered taboo – like divorce – force people to feel ashamed or not seek the help and support they need to heal and move forward. Monique teaches people to remove judgment, face reality, shake off shame, and move on with grace.

Listen to Next Monday's current podcast in its entirety to hear how Monique:

  • Is a huge fan of forgiveness
  • Remarried
  • Encourages you to the take the high road - and that is very personal and different for each person
