Do you wish you had more confidence? Do you sometimes look at other people and wish you were as confident and self-assured?
One definition of self-confidence is an individual’s trust in his or her own capabilities, another is a belief that he or she can successfully face day to day challenges and demands.
Reflect for a moment on how self-confident you think you are. How confident do you feel around your work? What about your confidence when you are with friends and your family? How confident do you feel about making a presentation at work or talking to a stranger?

Many of the people that I work with are always on the lookout for all the ways to become a better version of themselves. They of course are participating in coaching but they also read books, listen to podcasts spend time in reflection and are excellent goal setters.

The speed at which business and life operates seems to be overwhelming these days.
We rush out of bed, rush to get ready, rush to the office and then rush all day to get projects done and meet deadlines. Many times though it seems like the faster we work, the more work that piles up, and the harder we try to get caught up the more it sometimes feels like we fall behind. We are stressed. We are anxious. We are tired.
You need more space.
You need more margin.
You need more peace.

Christmas is a time where we think about everyone else. Our friends, our families, our neighbors, coworkers, even strangers we have never met. We give generously. We want to make others happy. We want to make them feel loved.
All of this is wonderful and really is a lot of what makes the season so special. But have you ever thought about giving yourself a gift this Christmas? I can tell you now that one of the most deserving people in your life that you neglect every holiday season is you.
