Have you ever started an exercise routine and quit shortly after, telling yourself you’d get back into it eventually? What about a household project that you’ve procrastinated and justified because the holiday season is coming and you have shopping to do? The one thing that could be holding you back from your goals could be something you aren’t even consciously aware of. We do this on a daily basis. We make excuses!

What do the world’s most successful individuals all have in common that allows them to be so influential? What is it that makes an athlete, musician, or public speaker have the ability to perform in front of people, or a business professional the ability to continue producing innovation after innovation? These individuals hold a strong belief in themselves, confident that they possess the characteristics necessary to do what they do and do it well. At some point in your career, you will be faced with the challenge of overcoming resistance. Have you ever left the house and somehow ended up at work, but don’t remember how you got there or what happened in between? Like clockwork, you have a routine you follow that is almost thoughtless. Do you feel guilty about considering a life coach? Guilt seeps its way into many areas of the modern woman's life. You're expected to do it all on your own, from advancing in competitive career ladders to raising a family. There are only 24 hours in a day, but somehow you have to fit chores, social plans, work commitments, and family time into the mix. You often find yourself picking up slack in the office, whether you're volunteering time to arrange work parties or covering for your colleagues when they're slacking off. Any time you invest resources in yourself, you consider how they could benefit other people. It's impossible to avoid guilt in today's society as a woman.

Effective leaders inspire. Leaders of this nature don’t set out on a mission to be inspiring, it just happens because of who they are. Inspiring is a state of being. An inspirational leader will want you to be the best version of who you are. They’re not worried about recognition because the focus is on serving others.

The term “life coach” has been given a bad rap. Most people don’t have a clue on what a life coach is or does. Maybe you’re embarking on a career change. Maybe you’re facing a life/career transition. Maybe you’re at a crossroads in a relationship.
